Riser, distribution and plant room pipework — installed, tested and documented

PipeSaxis Mechanical installs copper, plastic and multi-layer pipework on commercial and development projects across England — risers, distribution pipework and plant room connections, delivered to coordinated drawings and proven by pressure testing. Every installation is supervisor-led and QA-controlled, with photo evidence, test records and handover documentation built into the programme rather than added at the end.

We work as a subcontractor to main contractors and developers, and directly for property managers and commercial clients on planned and reactive works. Teams arrive site-ready with RAMS, COSHH assessments and toolbox talks completed, and routing is coordinated with other trades so services run clean, accessible and to spec. Certification and insurance details available on request.

Plastic and multi-layer

MLCP, PEX and polybutylene systems installed with manufacturer-approved tooling and jointing, giving fast, clean runs where the specification allows.

Riser installation

Vertical risers set out, fixed and installed floor by floor, with sleeves, fire-stopping interfaces and valve positions agreed before work starts.

04

Distribution pipework

Lateral distribution from risers to apartments, cores and plant, run on coordinated routes with falls, brackets and isolation points to drawing.

05

Plant room pipework

Plant area pipework and final connections to pumps, vessels, manifolds and heat sources, installed for access, maintenance and clean commissioning.

06

Pressure testing

Hydraulic and air testing to specified parameters, witnessed where required, with results recorded against each section and held in the project file.

07

Coordinated routing

Routes agreed against structural constraints and other trades, keeping services straight, supported, labelled and accessible for future maintenance.

SVC-03 / FAQ

Direct answers for commercial buyers

Yes. PipeSaxis Mechanical delivers pipework packages as a subcontractor to main contractors, M&E contractors and developers across England. We price from drawings and specification, issue site-specific RAMS for approval, attend pre-start and progress meetings, and report against programme. Valuations, variations and records are handled in a contractor-ready format, and certification and insurance details are available on request.

We install copper in press-fit, brazed and soldered formats, plus plastic and multi-layer systems such as MLCP, PEX and polybutylene, selected to the project specification. Typical scopes cover vertical risers, floor-by-floor distribution, plant room pipework and final connections to equipment. We are Gas Safe registered where gas works are undertaken.

Each completed section is tested hydraulically or with air to the pressures and hold times stated in the specification, before insulation or boxing in. Tests can be witnessed by the client's representative where the contract requires it. Results are recorded per section with location, parameters, duration and outcome, supported by photo evidence, and the records are compiled into the handover pack.

Yes, with the right planning. Riser and distribution replacement in occupied buildings is sequenced around isolations, agreed shutdown windows and tenant notice periods, with temporary supplies arranged where needed. Works are supervisor-led, protected and cleaned down daily, and RAMS reflect the live environment. For faults outside planned works, emergency response is subject to location and availability.

We deliver pipework packages across England, with nationwide subcontracting for planned commercial and development works. Teams mobilise with RAMS approved, inductions completed and materials called off against programme, so distance does not dilute supervision or QA. For multi-site clients we can run a consistent specification, documentation format and single point of contact across locations.
